A 15 year old girl from Stoke Newington is facing deportation from the UK despite being extremely ill with liver disease. A campaign to prevent her deportation has garnered support from 28 MPs who aim to block the proceedure implemented by the Home Office.
Zarina Rentia is currently undergoing tests at the University College London in Euston. Hackney and Stoke Newington MP Diane Abbott has tabled in an early day motion in the House of Commons.
This will invite Home Secretary Jacqui Smith to allow Zarine and her mother to remain in the UK on compassionate grounds
